At the 40/40 Club, 100 donors sat on sofas in Jay-Z's exclusive club, as per The Hollywood Reporter. The entrance fee wasn't too shabby: Each donor paid $40,000 to attend the event!
Beyoncé addressed the crowd: "I can't tell you how proud we are to host tonight's event with President Obama. We believe in his vision."

After taking the stage, the president said, "To J and B, thank you so much for your friendship." He added, "Michelle, Sasha and Malia are mad at me because they aren't here."
Then he took the opportunity to poke fun at both himself and the rapper over their unique bond. "We both have daughters and our wives are more popular than we are. So, you know, we've got a little bond there. It's hard, but it's okay."
